Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) approved Global ATS Ltd UK (GATS) as an ATC Training Organisation in accordance with KCASR Part ATCO Regulations to deliver the following ATC training modules:

• ATCO Initial Training – Basic Training and Aerodrome Control
• ATCO Continuation Training – ATCO Refresher Training
• Practical Instructor Training – OJTI / STDI and associated Refresher Training
• Assessor Training – Assessor Course and Refresher Training

DGCA Kuwait responsibilities include the operation of Kuwait International Airport with 111,600 commercial movements and passenger numbers increasing to 13.7 million in 2017. A Kuwait International Airport upgrade project (2.5 billion KWD) is in progress which will provide capacity of up to 25 million passengers.
