Global ATS has received UK CAA approval to deliver the On the Job Training Instruction (OJTI) refresher course utilising an online delivery platform. The course, available from October, is suitable for candidates looking to revalidate their endorsement only. Global ATS has adapted its standard course to suit online training platforms reducing the need for and costs of travel and subsistence. Specifically designed for holders of a licence issued in accordance with Regulation (EU) 340/2015, this course can also be adapted to support the needs of ICAO customers.

Jon English, Head of Training, stated “This latest course from Global ATS is in response to the increased use of virtual learning environments versus traditional classrooms. We have worked closely with the UK CAA to gain approval for a course to meet the needs of our customers.”

Andy Cameron, Academy Director, said “We will be contacting customers shortly to see if they can benefit from this new opportunity. The customer will still receive the Global ATS training standard albeit from a distant learning environment. It is expected that this online approach can be used to suit similar courses which we hope to launch in the future.”
