I have been connected with ASTAC (Global ATS Ltd) since the Company started business in the ATS Training field.
In my last role as Director Safety and Operation for Highlands and Islands Airports Ltd. Student Controllers from my eleven airfields all passed successfully through the ASTAC training system to become licensed controllers in the minimum time needed.
In my current role, Quality and Training Mentor, Baghdad International Airport Project (a Serco Middle East contract) I did not hesitate to recommend that ASTAC should supply both the courses and instructors to run the full range of ATS training at the Iraq Civil Aviation Institute ATS Academy. This was accepted and ASTAC Instructors are delivering training at this time.
Over many years I have witnessed the ASTAC training system in operation in many countries and in one of past roles as Director Aviation Safety, Serco Group was able to sample the operational output of their system at Serco contracts worldwide. It is a quality product.
Whilst I write this email in a personal capacity, I do so since communications with the wider Serco are difficult in this part of the world, I know Serco would not have retained ASTAC as its Training Provider on a global basis if, as an Organisation, it was not satisfied with quality and delivery of the ASTAC product.

The ATCU at RAF Barkston Heath, under the employ of various contractors over the past 18 years, provide ATC to the military in EFT training to both RN and Army Air Corps students. This ATCU has been using Global ATS to provide licence and rating training over the past 8 years.
