No. The minimum entry requirements to begin a successful career in Air Traffic Control (ATC) are: ICAO Aviation Language level 4 (minimum); European Class 3 Medical to be completed at CAA HQ at Gatwick; qualification equivalent to BTEC National Diploma (2 A levels), or experience spent as an Assistant Air Traffic Controller. Applicants will also need to undergo Aptitude Assessments to assess their suitability for ATC training. The recommended age of applicants is 20 years old.
