UK Border Agency (UKBA) – Highly Trusted Status (HTS) - 
April 2012

Global’s Shoreham ICAO facility was awarded Highly Trusted status by the UKBA, the highest level of approval available to a UK-based educational/training organisation, under the UK Government’s Points Based System. The Highly Trusted status confirms that Global’s Shoreham facility delivers ICAO training to a consistently high standard and is ‘approved’ and ‘trusted’ by the UKBA to sponsor and train international visa students in the UK on aviation training courses of 12 months or longer.

Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) – April 2012

Global’s Shoreham ICAO training centre received approval from the ISI following a rigorous 3-day inspection. The independent report, published by the ISI, confirmed Global ATS’ Shoreham facility had met and/or exceeded expectations within three key criteria: The quality of the curriculum, teaching and learners’ achievements – Met expectations; Students’ welfare, including health and safety – Exceeded expectations; the effectiveness of governance, leadership and management – Exceeded expectations.

Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) – March 2012

The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) accepted Global ATS as a provider of fire training. The IAA is a commercial semi-state company employing approximately 700 people at six locations around Ireland. The IAA’s two main functions are: the provision of air traffic management & related services in Irish controlled airspace; and the safety regulation of the civil aviation industry in Ireland.
