Global ATS Commercial Director, Marcus Mimms, announced today a major expansion of GATS Air Traffic Control Training with a new additional training campus in Cheltenham, United Kingdom.
The new GATS campus at GlosCol’s Technical Establishment is adjacent to the British Governments Global Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) centrally located close to Cheltenham Town Centre.
GATS / GlosCol campus will cater for expansion of International (ICAO) ATC students plus Aviation English Language and English Language Summer Schools themed for future Pilot & ATC Training.
The campus will include multiple new 3D Aerodrome and 2D Radar simulators, multiple classrooms, new simulator pilot suite, briefing rooms and locker space.
The GATS / GlosCol Academy has light, bright classrooms, a full range of student catering services, large common room spaces plus easy access to a wide range of public transport.
GATS UK Specialist Training Programs at the GATS / GlosCol campus will expand in October 2018 to include new training courses covering Aviation Cyber Security, Airport Operations, Search & Rescue and Human Factors Training.
All new international Training will be based at the GATS / GlosCol campus.
The new Training is campus situated close to the existing GATS Staverton Airport campus enabling GATS to provide modular training and close cooperation between campuses and expanded simulator suites.
